Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the penultimate awards show...Kinda... For the past several years on Letterboxd, I've done my awards for the top movies of the year and now to kick off what will be a busy year on this site, I'm transferring that over to here and rebranding it as the "HOUNDIES". Instead of a traditional top ten list, I decided it might fit best if I did my favorites of the year as an awards style list. The winner of each category is labeled in bold. There are still a handful of movies that I still need to see that could've made scored some nominations and wins such as Honey Boy, Just Mercy, and Waves, though for those three films in particular either haven't opened near me yet or I missed it when it was theaters.
Unlike the Oscars and previous awards done by me, the acting and directing categories will not be limited to 5 nominations but there will be no more than 10 nominations for those categories. Everything else is limited to 5.

Pretty good results...
... but I'm still gonna advocate for Joker for Best Picture!
